It is completely fabulous. Philippe Morillon is already an IDEA hero and graphic superstar. His illustrations for Le Palace , Facade and Interview formed the BRILLIANT Ultralux book. This new book is of his photographs. Unpublished, unseen, and unbelievably amaze.
The package. Published by The(M) Éditions. This is Philippe on the wraparound band circa 1979. Contained within; the book, a newspaper, a book mark with text by Pierre Berge (yes really) and, if you buy the deluxe version of which there are only 30 in the world, a signed and numbered print. Enough. Already!
The photographs. A veritable qui est qui of the Paris scene. Edwige (above), Djemila, Paquita Paquin, François Wimille, Jacques de Bascher, Andrée Putman...
