It is the perfect picture. Kate Moss with cigarette in Paris in the nineties. Pre-smoking ban and right in the middle of her Johnny Depp years.
What a club it was. The walls were tiled and the dance floor was a swimming pool drained of water. Joy Division played there in 1979 (later released as a
live album). Following on from Le Palace, Les Bains Douches became the super celebrity hangout in Paris throughout the 80s and 90s.
Where did it all go thong? By 2003 the Guetta's had sold up and moved on. By 2010 the club was closed: declared unsafe after numerous illegal structural 'improvements'.
And here's Johnny. So young and clean shaven. They are at Les Bains Douches, the legendary Parisian nightclub built in a bathhouse.
In the late 80's and 90's the club was owned by euro DJ superstar David Guetta and his wife Cathy. They kicked off their tenancy with a Dallas themed party. This dog's necklace is testament to the levels of adornment the club and its clientele would go to. See more of the
