THE SEVENTEENZ. 17 ZINES PUBLISHED BY NIEVES IN 2006 IN EDITIONS OF JUST 150 NUMBERED COPIES. AT THE END OF THAT YEAR 20 SETS WERE WRAPPED IN A FOLDED PAPER POSTER AND SOLD. SOLD OUT IN FACT. SAVE FOR THIS ONE LAST PACK.
The word is perfect. The complete 2006 output of zines from Swiss independent publisher Nieves. Wrapped in a poster depicting each of the covers contained inside. Zen like.
Unwrapped / undressed. Slice through the Sellotape and look out!Teenage Lustin photocopy! One of two super scarce Larry Clark zines included in the pack. Not so Zen!
Another arresting image fromTeenage Lustserves as the centre spread ofLarry Clark 2published in February of 2006. It's the best use of this photograph we have seen since it (dis)graced a Supreme skateboard.
Larry Clark 1is made up of images fromTulsa. That book is stunning of course in any edition but it looks super strong in fucked up photocopy. Just these two Larry Clark zines alone make the 2006 pack ever so desirable. They are not cheap nor easy to come by.
And neither is this. The Ari Marcopoulos superzineSlouching Towards Brooklyn(one for theJoan Didionfans).
We have selected one shot (above) to show how good this zine / major photobook is... but you should reallyclick this link.
A good surprise. Amongst the other 14 zines in the pack are publications by Kim Gordon, Stefan Marx, Yoshimi and IDEA Books favourite of favourites Fergus! His freehand supergraphic pages inheavy rotation here.
