Woody Allen L'Uomo Vogue

FLASH NEWS. WE ARE
SPEED WRITING THIS EMAIL ALMOST AS YOU ARE
READING IT! WE FOUND THIS 1978 WOODY ALLEN
COVER  L'UOMO VOGUE FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS
MORNING. IT IS THE
SPEZIALE T-SHIRT ISSUE.
THERE ARE FORTY PAGES
OF T-SHIRTS. FOUR ZERO!

Ready? As ever. Woody is the front for the best visual reference to t-shirt design in the world ever. A role he appears to have taken on very seriously.

We counted in pages - forty. L'Uomo themselves counted shirts - 253. Wow. 254 if you include the Versace ad on the left, which just happens to be on the most extraordinary and sculptured shirt shapes in the issue.

Look how good this is. 'Cinque "Classici"... e qualche idea in piu'. They have run the editorial across the shirts.

Accidental masterpiece. The trompe l'oeil dungaree design is stamped with the boxed 'T-SHIRT' for this issue. But that is just how we would want it. Meaning and anti-meaning. Does it matter and does it anti-matter? Yes. Of course!

A T-Shirt happening at the Factory. This does not really require further comment!

What?! Divine and the cast of the show Neon Woman. This issue is outrageous in its super quality.  A vivid dream printed on paper. See more of it - not all of it - but some more of it - on this link. Hit the button below to try and buy.
