Antonioni Collection

IN PRAISE OF MONICA VITTI AND MICHELANGELO ANTONIONI. THE ITALIAN STYLE OF THE ILLUSTRATED SCREENPLAY. THREE OF THE MOST ELEGANT BOOKS WE HAVE EVER SEEN. A LONG TIME WE HAVE LOOKED FOR THESE. THEY ARE REAL.
THEIR EXISTENTIAL EXISTENCE CONFIRMED.

Achingly cool. A two word review. But that will do. 1964 first edition. Published in Italy. Published in Italian.

Modern art personified. Monica Vitti.

Looks good in colour too. Red Desert was the fourth film she made with Antonioni and the first in colour.

The first film. And another epic elegant hyper desirable superbook! 1960 first edition. The film is extraordinary. The book is equal to it.

Our favourite. Not least as Monica Vitti shares the screen (and these pages) with the young Alain Delon. And it's pink.

Coolest composition. Shot in the Rome stock exchange. They also share a first kiss either side of a glass window. That's really, really, really cool!

Vitti to Delon: "I wish I didn't love you. Or loved you more."

All we ever wanted. There must be more to life. But we suspect much of what is known can be found in these three books.

They come as a set. In their ice cream colours. There never was a book for La Notte btw - but the absence of that volume sits well with the sense of emptiness :)

Life is not elsewhere. It's here. Buy the three books on the button below.
