And the first volume just so happens to be an all-time Araki superbook in its own right. Naked Faces is the only book in the series that doesn't actually include that much nakedness.

In portraiture, Araki is very, very good at allowing the faces to do the work. This was shot in 1995 but his model could be light years away - we are only seeing this now.

The Naked Faces volume is also surprisingly colour and fashion coded. Two pins here for extra safety.

Volume 3. Devoted to Araki's wife Yoko. Other absolute classic in this collection include Death: Elegy, Xeroxed Photo Albums, Sentimental Travelogue, Dramatic Shooting and Fake Reportage.... really, they are all superb.

And after Yoko, Chiro was Araki's second most cherished companion. This we are showing you to further explain that there is more than bondage to this collection. Although, note that even Chiro has a tightly knotted bowtie and looks a little pinched in the cheeks in this cover picture.

And now for the ropes. Easing you in gently with this one. And amusing ourselves with the realisation that the woman is quite safe from buttermilk suit's advances. The closer he gets to her, the further she will get away, until he is the one hanging from that hook.

Not so gentle. A great advert for the tabi sock boots, which now look particularly comfortable.

There are hundreds of bondage pics. This one we found très amusant. A quiet night in for Mr and Mrs Shibari; they realised too late that they shouldn't both be tied up :)
