WOW! Like Blood On The Tracks Of A Snow Leopard (our title, not hers). This artist book doesn't have a title as such. We shall call it Liliane V.
 

The artist in colour-wash neon and Mickey and Minnie T-shirt. Born in 1952, jazz chanteuse by 1970, artist and muse to herself from there on in. The not-so-secret truth about IDEA is that we LOVE pictures of people looking cool. Liliane Vertessen made a career out of it. 
 

People looking foxy is good too. 
 

She makes sexualised images of herself in her art. It's not erotica directly, in all the images her eyes tell the truth and ask the questions: this is how you see me? this makes me relevant / popular / successful?

1991 this handmade folder cum artists book was made in an edition of 350 copies. There are 43 pages to this copy and two postcards signed by the artist. It's rare (but then of course it is - we are writing about it!).
