Miguel Trillo Postcards

BACK TO THE EVER SO,
EVER SO RARE. THIS MIGUEL TRILLO POSTCARD BOOK IS (GIVE OR TAKE THE FACT
THAT WE DO HAVE ONE) UNFINDABLE. IT'S SIGNED TOO. AND IF YOU DON'T
KNOW MIGUEL TRILLO. YOU REALLY SHOULD. NO ONE PHOTOGRAPHED SPANISH YOUTH WITH SUCH TOTAL TALENT AND DETERMINED DEDICATION AS HE DID.

He likes the composition of couples. His illustrated diary book Parejas (Couples) is already an IDEA superbook. His original six Rockocó zines certainly would be, if we could ever find them. And this postcard book, Souvenirs, from 1992 - well, hello, new favourite pocket sized perfect book! This is ADORABLE.

Pasión. No need for a translation. And you can't unsaturate that red soaked picture. It's dripping red.

This is what you get. A concertina fold concerto of straight up street pics and documentary evidence.

No one else is quite like Miguel Trillo. He shoots kids two by two, like someone built an ark for for every youth cult that ever walked the Spanish earth. And he does it with a real Almodovaran love of colour and characater.

There are 23 postcard prints in the whole metre long frieze. This is our fav photo of them. For their hair of course AND for that spiritually unlevel picture hanging!

Workwear goals. And blue hat's very, very straight hair.

The whole thing very neatly folded into one small pack.

We did mention it was signed?

The true IDEA idea of a superbook. Something that can not be found. Found. Something better than anything. Isn't this - what it's all about?

One copy on the button below. Let's go!
