Flip through and pick your own cut!  This is a real book, mass market published by Ballantine in 1985, acting like a hairstyle catalogue. So many of the best ever books are perfectly flawed - this one is drop jaw stunning. 
 

The Astor Place Barber Stylist in Manhattan's Lower East Side. The whole book was shot there. It still exists of course. Check out their superstar clients on this fab link. 

All the angles! The art direction of the book is as sharp as the stylists' scissors. You can also see that the binding is drying out. If you buy this, take great care of it. It really is the only one out there. And we would desperately love to find another...
