See! Whatever you do, don't let the cleaner in there. We are assuming that room is sound-proofed. Otherwise that guy is bringing the full Castle Donington effect to suburban Osaka. And we are assuming it is a guy because, in this book at least, it is always a guy. 
 

Hello! The reverse view of the same room and one very buttoned-up well turned out gentleman casually reading the sleeve notes of a gatefold album. 
 

There are no women in the book but, in a break in convention, two men are seen here, sharing the ultimate listening experience. This, we imagine, is a special exemption extended only to twins. 
 

Typically it is a solitary, zen like, meditation on sound and technology. No clues are given in the book as to what exactly these men listen to. Probably not pop music. Very likely jazz. 
 

For this guy we are guessing Herbie Hancock You Bet Your Love. Could be wrong. 
 

Casual readers will be pleased to note that you don't need to invest hundreds of thousands of yen into expensive audio separates to get the look. Two faux bearskins placed perpendicular will make any sofa an ultimate listening accessory. 
 

You just feel that even a pin dropping in this room would sound amazing. And a needle dropping, even better.
