Published in conjunction with the touring exhibition of the same name held across Europe in the early oughts. Comprising of documents and several hundred works from the Archive of Small Press & Communication. Ranging through the sixties to the eighties and focusing on Body Art, mail art, Land Art, Fluxus, Conceptual art, Minimalism, Pop Art, performance, visual poetry and concrete poetry. The archive consists of around 35,000 pieces, including graphic and sound works, multiples, records, newspapers, magazines, postcards, posters, videos and books. The exhibition at MACBA included works by Marcel Broodthaers, Daniel Buren, Guy Debord, Sol LeWitt, Bruce Nauman, Dieter Roth and Andy Warhol.
