Always was drawn to the painterly pink and green colour scheme. Hardly noticed the shooting-up nun. And, fourteen years later, now realised it is a very male looking nun. In any event, it is one of the ultimate amazine covers and deserves to be framed and left, propped up on the pillow like the picture within the picture.

Pierpaolo Ferrari shot every photo in Toiletpaper - presumably in a fairly direct collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan. The double pages don't relate to each other, save for being in the same magazine. They just appear to deconstruct and reconstruct themselves as images that look curiously familiar.
