UP A COVER LIKE THAT. ONLY HISTORY CAN REVEAL SUCH

AN HISTORIC BOOK. 

We have been sitting here half a day just looking at that cover. The actual book is even better. More surprising in its reality. An English / Italian lyrics / info and photobook from 1981 that has somehow existed under the radar all this time... If we had found this one on day one of IDEA we would long ago have retired! 
 

Quite right that these two should share a book. Especially considering the quality of the song they co-wrote and produced. Una Volta Nella Vita (Once In A Lifetime): very arguably the best standalone pop song in the history of the whole world. 



We chose to reproduce these David Byrne lyrics for the obvious reason that it does rather accurately describe the sensation of holding this new superbook in your hands. 
 

And here's Eno. He always did look ridiculously good in photographs. A proper subject of a picture. Like if a portrait painter worked purely from their imagination, they might create him. 
 

And again with the photogenicism. 
 

This book is quite off the scale wonderful. All the lyrics in English and Italian to the first four Talking Heads albums: Talking Heads: 77, More Songs About Buildings and Food, Fear of Music, Remain in Light; then the photographs and the discography for Brian Eno; all of it adding up to 95 pages (and the covers) of perfection. They don't come this good very often...
