US NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. NEVER EVEN SEEN IT BEFORE. AND IT IS ONE OF THE GREAT SUPERBOOKS EVER!! THE TITLE ALONE IS LEGEND. BUT LOOK INSIDE AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN. IT IS AN EVERY PAGE PERFECT BOOK.
This is why we do this. Out of this world class books we have - somehow - never ever seen before. The Steves are Jobs and Wozniak of course.

Steve Jobs! The other half of Apple (who also founded Pixar, returned to Apple and created iPods, iPhones, iTunes... you know the story). Here he is checking if this boardroom table is large enough for an Apple Lisa.

But this is not just a book about hardware. In fact the cover states 'The personal computer was created by a hardware revolution of the 1970s. The next dramatic change will come from a software revolution... which Apple is introducing here today.' Of course that was half right. Software revolution, yes. But Jobs and Wozniak left Apple in 1985 and it wasn't exactly plain sailing thereafter. Which is why this book is so fascinating. Still, Lode Runner on the Mac II was a moment.
What? Is this all about? Five adult-only entertainments including 'Hands On', 'Strip Poker' and 'Pleasure Village'. Not entirely sure these games would survive uncensored on the App Store now.
Music technology. That Apple II looks so at home in the studio. There is a whole section in the book by Apple 'influencer' Herbie Hancock.
