These are rare! And yes, this one is signed. There were eight issues in all between 1976 and 1980. We have Journals No. 3 (signed) and 5-8. Edited and published in Wisconsin by Nanalee Berry with help from Patti's mother Beverly. 
 

From 1974 and reproduced in journal no.5 of 1977. The full page letter from Patti to her Mom and Dad. It was written when Patti was the same age her mother was when she, Patti, was born; 

"The older I get - the easier it is to see things thru your eyes - the love and pain and suffering you two had to go thru to raise us kids!"

Clarinet on the cover of No.7. The title of the Journal is from Rimbaud. Soul for soul. The first page with the credits always lists the honorary members of the fan club. By No.7 of 1979 the list has grown to include Fred 'Sonic' Smith, Marilyn Chambers, Tom Verlaine, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
 

Dylan particularly enjoyed a wordsearch (this statement needs one of those Wikipedia citations!). It's a Patti Smith song titles puzzle. Radio Ethiopia is a an easy one. You can find the rest :)
 

Journal No.6 is dedicated to Jimmy Iovine, who you know from founding Beats with Dr. Dre and being a billionaire but in 1978 had just produced Easter with Patti.
