The new IDEA book is FLESH. Peter J Walsh (of Rave One fame) is back with another window into the windowless world of the Manchester’s fabled nightclub The Haçienda.

This book is different. This is a book of FLESH, the legendary queer night founded in 1991 by Paul Cons and the late Lucy Scher. FLESH promised “serious pleasures for Dykes & Queers...” and, on the last Wednesday of every month, The Haçienda would undergo a transformation, morphing into a ballroom, a bubble bath, a beauty pageant in the buff.

Peter J Walsh shot it all (within reason) and here it is now in dynamite dyke power cover photo and FLESH logo (designed by Johnson/Panas Manchester) obi band. This is a fun book because FLESH was fun; political and necessary but above all fun.
