Amazing. Totally amazing 1983 Miles Davis photobook from out of Japan. These pictures taken in New York with Miles by Japanese photographer Makoto Hata. They are so candid and random! Miles' activity in 1983 (recordings and concerts) came off the back of a six year hiatus. His new life and energy is evident in the pictures. As is his love of swimming! One of our favourite books ever.
