Miles Davis Jazz Improvisation 1 & 2

Well, these together... that is RARE! And just as great as it is scarce. Published in Japan in 1974 & '75, the books present the musical notation transcription of Miles Davis's improvisations on record. There will be an app that does this now but in the 70's this would have required some seriously concentrated listening by Terumasa Hino to transcribe all the parts of the band. The books themselves are illustrated throughout with photographs of Miles. It is without doubt the coolest book we have seen for a long time now. Killer cover too.
